Q: What is Beauty, Myth?

Beauty, Myth is a hybrid production nurtured from our love for fine music, physical theatre, dance and the non-spoken narrative. In amalgamating dramatic movement and instrumental music, Beauty, Myth recaptures the rich imagery of the Greek and Roman mythologies; such as that of Narcissus and Echo and Orpheus and Eurydice.

Performed both in gallery spaces and among leaves and rain, Beauty, Myth adopts a minimalistic philosophy to enhance the intimacy and aesthetics of the ambient landscape. Essentially, it is not the mystical flute, the sinuous violin, the radiant trumpet or the earthy clarinet that deems Beauty, Myth its mesmerising quality. Rather, it is their fusion with the immortal myths and the sensuous body that captivates the soul.
